In addition to the educational curriculum we create a difference by our approach towards teaching methods. The class rooms are also equipped with smart boards and projectors to make the learning experience better.
The catholic students of the school are taken for a Holy Mass on the First Friday of every month. The students can begin their they with a prayer in the silent and peaceful atmosphere of the school chapel.
The Science and Computer labs provide an excellent opportunity to gain sound practical knowledge and keep the students to effectively put into practice the attained theoretical knowledge.
The school canteen provides nutritious food to the students in a healthy and hygienic environment. The students are also provided with refreshment after their hectic schedule. Students have to obtain the coupon for the lunch from the school office by 9.00 am.
In an era where physical training is taking a back seat, coaching is given to students in basketball, football, throw ball and badminton by formally trained coaches. The children are taken to participate in different inter school tournaments. The school also organizes interschool tournaments for basketball and badminton.
Remedial coaching is given to the weak students after the regular working hours. Teachers help the students to overcome the problems in learning their daily lessons.
The St. Chavara Boarding House accommodates the boys of the school under the supervision of effective teachers and the leadership of CMI Fathers. The girls of the school are provided accommodation in the Carmelaram Convent Boarding run by CMC sisters. They are provided with special training and care..
The school provides transportation facility to the students. Travelling by school bus is an occasion to cultivate good habits like patience, co-operation and concern for others. Parents have to register their children with the details of boarding and alighting points at the office in the prescribed form. Those students desiring to make use of bus facility have to register for the whole year - June to March (10 months) and pay the fees in advance on quarterly or annual basis and acquire the bus pass.
